I think the comments about Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad made by Noramtaz Abdullah of Petaling Jaya ("More negatives than positives"-NST June 24) are unfair,disrespectful and untrue.
First of all,a great country needs great buildings.Think aris and what comes to mind?The Eiffel Tower.London?The Houses of parliament and Tower Bridge.Rome?The colossum.Sydney? The Opera House.New York? A myriad of skyscrapers.
And in kuala Lumpur didn't have the Petronas Twin towers,what other landmark would identify it so distinctly?
